Cynthia Young, Malta Town Supervisor

Cynthia Young and her husband, Doug, have been residents of the Town of Malta for nearly 40 years.  In that time, Cynthia has been an active member of the community.  She has served on the Town Council, the Zoning Board of Appeals, the Board of Assessment Review, the Saratoga County Planning Board, the Master Plan Update Committee and the Malta Youth Commission.  Cynthia currently is the Treasurer of the Malta Sunrise Rotary.  She is also a former trustee on the Ballston Spa Education Foundation and the Brookside Museum.

As Supervisor, Cynthia’s priorities are to keep residents informed about what their town government is doing.  She is also committed to protecting our open spaces, while managing the inevitable development pressures.  She encourages residents to be involved and offer opinions on any matter.
